I’m Graeme, a husband, a father of two, and a therapist who has the privilege of come alongside individuals as they navigate the complexities of being human. What follows is a reflection on who I am as a therapist, then a bit about who I am as a person.
I specialize in helping adults (ages 19 and above) heal and grow from the challenges that life presents them. My practice addresses a range of concerns, though I've developed particular expertise working with people experiencing insomnia. Particularly those facing insomnia while also experiencing other mental health or physical health concerns.
Though a therapeutic approach that is flexible and grounded in evidence-based methods, I support clients in transforming their suffering and pain into meaningful values-congruent thriving. We will work together to face the uncomfortable and unknown parts of you, bringing them a sense of being seen, understood, and supported. Doing so will create the space for insight, integration, meaning, and changes aligned with your values.
If you're facing some of the challenges listed below, we would likely be a good therapeutic fit:
Insomnia, with or without the presence of another mental or physical health condition
Facing a life transition that threatens to overwhelm you
Feeling like you don't know who you are
Being stuck, like nothing you do moves you
A sense of nearing or being burnout, of not being able to keep up with it all
Uncertainty about making a major life changing decision
Having everything that should make you happy, yet you feel empty on the inside
Struggling to control your worries
Going through a meaningful loss, perhaps of a loved one, a job, a capability, or something else
Believing that nothing matters, feeling like everything is pointless
If you resonate with something here, let's talk, as therapy can likely help with what you're going through.
Who I Help
How I Help
Working with me is about deeply engaging with, understanding, and developing the tools necessary to make a meaningful change in your life. To do this, I will invest heavily into cultivating the type of therapeutic alliance with you that is characterized by authenticity, understanding, and hope. I don't show up as a neutral emotionally removed viewer of your experience, I show up with honesty, caring, and sincerity.
My guiding aim will be to (re)vitalize your own capacity to heal and grow. As such, you will find that I seek to appreciate and make sense of the unique context that makes you you, then individualize treatment to this. You'll find that I'm not big on advice-giving or telling you exactly what to do (though I don't avoid this either), but rather use curiosity, interest, and an encouraging presence to aid you in finding your own path.
You'll find that my therapeutic superpowers include passionate curiosity, a sense for drawing out meaning and purpose, and a steady presence that is attuned to you. I feel with my clients, laugh and celebrate with them, and seek to encounter them both as they are and who they can be.
From the very beginning, Graeme's approach made me feel completely at ease. What stood out most was how thoughtfully he tailored our sessions to me as an individual, taking into account my personality, habits, and hobbies. He gave me creative ways to process my emotions and challenges that felt natural and effective, while also gently introducing me to new strategies I would have never tried otherwise... he helped me fill my belt with tools that propelled me forward, gave me a clearer and more knowledgeable perspective, and taught me healthier ways to navigate the mess in my head... I truly recommend Graeme to anyone seeking meaningful therapy.

I found that I really connected with Graeme. I'd been pretty uncomfortable talking about what had been doing on for me, but the more I shared the better things seemed to get. I took some meaningful steps for myself. Today, it's like I'm not weighed down by the anxiety and shame anymore, I can just do whatever I need to without getting caught up in my mind. I'd definitely recommend him!
